Review:

The Cover Girls enjoyed this April’s PNR choice, Mercury Striking, giving it a 3.6 rating. The ladies really enjoyed the storyline, as most of them are fans of apocalyptic fiction. We had a lively discussion about a scene where the main character was spanked as a punishment and was turned on by it. Some didn’t like it, while others felt it had a BDSM feel. All agreed this story was a bit on the erotic side, which some liked and some thought “If it’s the end of the world don’t you have better things to do then fall into bed every 5 minutes”. There was a lot of set up and story groundwork for future books in the series and everyone who read Mercury Striking agreed that Book Two was a must read.

We gave Mercury Striking 3.6 stars, rounded to 3.5 for the blog.
