There was a difference of opinion with the ladies about this book. Over-all, they all enjoyed the book, giving it a rating of 8.3 out of 10. One contingent felt that it was hard to get into due to the fact that she had look up a lot of words and that it dragged in some parts. On the other hand, the hero’s history was interesting due to the poverty he experienced, and the heroine was “like a real person and not just a wealthy girl.” All agree they would be interested in the next book in the series.
