The Vampire Shrink is the first book in a series that was originally published in 2007, with a follow-up (“Dark Harvest”) published in 2008, both by a small publishing company. The series was later re-sold and it was re-written/expanded for a new publisher and published again in late 2012, with the brand new second in series (“Blood Therapy”) released in early 2013, and a re-write/expansion of the previous book 2 (“Dark Harvest”) to be released under the new title “Crimson Psyche”.   As the Cover Girls’ paranormal selection for March 2013, we read the newer version of “The Vampire Shrink.” We rated it a 7 out of 10, with some of the opinion that the heroine was difficult to connect with. One of our members mentioned that she especially liked the mix of psychology with the paranormal element, finding that to add a different twist to the story. Overall, the series has potential, and it will be interesting to see where it heads next.
